Work party update from Steve Batt
Gerry again starred on brushcutter and cut a couple more scallops, which
means all the planned grassland cutting is now done south of Ashlawn Bridge.
Thus the plan is to move north to the Healthy Living Walk area and start
there next week. Interesting morning with the weather far better than the
forecast and fortunately we were all back home by the time it really poured.
The Buzzard was watching our progress carefully, no doubt eyeing up the
feeding areas. Phil was as ever recording what was going on, the Fieldfares
were enjoying the sunshine but I only had a compact camera but good record
for now. Photo opportunity with a super wide angle lens would have shown a
complete rainbow straddling the Cutting.
